The Parker Bridge Remodel

THE CHALLENGE

The homeowners loved their neighborhood but had outgrown a closed-off, 1990s kitchen that cut them off from the rest of the home — and from each other.

THE APPROACH

We removed the load-bearing wall separating the kitchen from the living area, raised the ceiling for added volume, and designed a custom eleven-foot island to serve as the new heart of the home.

THE RESULT

The family now spends nearly every evening in the space they once avoided — cooking, working, and gathering together in a home that finally fits how they live.
