With 50 years of combined construction management experience, Jackson Design Build’s executive team has built hundreds of residential and commercial projects valued at well over 50 million dollars.

Dave Jackson has been building custom homes and remodeling existing homes since 1980. Billy, Dave’s son, joined the company in 2013 after gaining extensive experience with large commercial builds to continue the company’s legacy of fine craftsmanship and exceptional service.

We work across the South Metro Denver Area, in neighborhoods like Cherry Hills Farm, Chery Hills Park, Cherry Hills Country Club, The Preserve, Glenmoor, Castle Pines Village, Buell Mansion, Denver Country Club, Ravenna, Observatory Park, and The Polo Club.

Exceptional service begins with getting to know you and your dreams. The foundation of your home design emerges from a detailed discovery process of your lifestyle, wants, and needs. You receive a detailed specifications book that dovetails with your plans to ensure your values are built into your home from day one. We regularly meet you on site to ensure your continued satisfaction with the progress of your home, every step of the way. After the home is built, we remain on call to make sure you’re truly at home in your Jackson Design Build home.

Our principals and staff have decades of combined experience in custom home building in the Denver Metro Area including Parade of Homes construction. We pride ourselves on getting the job right the first time, on schedule and on budget. We allocate enough management time to each home to ensure the highest quality construction, and to make sure that each customer’s needs are understood and met.

A large part of our value is in our team of trade partners and subcontractors. Only the best craftsmen are invited to be a part of our team, many of them with us for 20 years or more. We get the best pricing, we only accept the best workmanship, and our subcontractors and suppliers are made up of the best men and women in the business. Can you tell we’re proud of our team?

Our job site is always open to you. We will meet you on your site as often as you wish and explain what is going on with construction. We tailor each customer agreement to make all the project information that you want to see available and accessible to you. This can include plans, specifications, subcontractor pricing, profit margins, builder fees, production schedules, everything. We want you to know that we have your best interests at heart.

By working with our loyal and valued trade partners, we can guarantee the best in quality and pricing. We have the jobsites organized, clean and ready for our trades when they arrive to perform their work, so they don’t waste time and can make a fair profit when they work for us. In addition, we guarantee prompt payment when the work is complete. Our great respect for and consideration of our trade partners ensures that we get the best subcontractor pricing and craftsmanship.

We are proud to be members of a number of leading industry trade associations such as the Home Builders Association (HBA). We are Indoor AirPlus, ENERGY STAR, and Universal Design certified. Our affiliation with our peers and suppliers allows us to know what builders are doing, what home buyers are demanding and what new-home technologies are coming, not only in Denver but around the country. This allows us to make sure we offer you the latest in electronics, energy efficiency, water conservation, finishes, and design and industry trends.

We enroll every custom home we build in the 2-10 Buyers Warranty program so that you have full coverage from day one that is backed by the largest underwriter in the business. While we always stand behind our work, it is a great feeling to know your home warranty is backed by the financial strength of a national warranty insurance program.

We have an extensive customer reference list. We have built over 100 custom homes in the South Denver Metro Area on behalf of our own company, and more than 2,000 homes for other home builders and developers. Our customers are happy to tell you about their experiences in working with us through their testimonials. We build great homes and we pride ourselves on knowing and listening to our customers.

Collaborating with leading commercial and custom home building and remodeling companies throughout his career, Dave has earned a local and national reputation as a master builder.

Dave has served 14 years as Director for the Home Builders Foundation (HBF) as well as two years as HBF’s Gifting Committee Chair and two years as President. Dave has also served multiple terms as Director for the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, the 50+ Housing Council, and the Remodelers Council.

Dave holds Green Professional, Aging in Place Specialist, and Train the Trainer designations from the National Association of Home Builders.

Billy is a certified Lead Safe Professional, a licensed real estate broker, and he holds the 30-Hour OSHA Safety Certification.

Graduating from Colorado State University with a BA in Construction Management in 2006, Billy gained 11 years of experience in home building and commercial construction before joining Jackson Design Build in 2013.

Community Building

Jackson Design Build has a long history of giving back to the community through volunteer efforts.

Jackson Design Build is an active contributor to the Home Builders Foundation (HBF), serving communities across the Denver Metro Area. Dave is a Past President, past Gifting Council Chair, and recently completed his 14th year on the Board of Directors. Dave has served as a Project Captain for dozens of projects providing no-cost home modifications to metro area families in need.

Billy is also an HBF Project Captain, recently leading a group of volunteer carpenters to complete wheelchair ramps in the Denver area.

Jackson Design Build is a proud volunteer sponsor and supporter of Easter Seals in the Denver area and beyond. Working on several no-cost and low-cost remodels and additions to the facilities at the Rocky Mountain Village Camp in Empire, Colorado, campers of all ages and abilities will experience the great outdoors first hand.
