DENVER, CO — The New Idea Home, an innovative Denver Parade of Homes project by Jackson Design Build, earned top honors at the 2017 Colorado Awards for Remodeling Excellence (CARE Awards), taking home the Gold Award for Best Infill Project.

Covering 6,174 square feet across four living levels, the home offers a spacious, 25-room retreat designed to meet the needs of families of all sizes—ranging from young households to multi-generational families seeking flexible living spaces.
The transformation of this Denver property reflects creative design ingenuity and technical mastery.
While the home appraised for $50,000 more than its sale price—and sold at full price to the first customer who viewed it—the project’s success was anything but guaranteed.
Locating the perfect site in Denver’s competitive housing market required determination and planning. Once secured, permitting delays added complexity to an already high-stakes schedule. By optimizing their workflow and maintaining top-tier project management, Jackson Design Build successfully completed the home on time and on budget for the 2016 Parade of Homes.
