Custom Home Build

This breathtaking homesite is situated atop a peak on a 35+ acre parcel in the coveted Wildcat Point subdivision. We will continue site work throughout the summer and fall, as plans are finalized for this beautiful home. This custom home will be a 5,000 square feet, 2-story home with a finished walk out basement. Check back for more updates on this project, you won’t want to miss it!

Front and Rear Renderings

January – February, 2024

The early months of 2024 have been cold! We’ve still managed to get a lot done. Windows & doors in, house is dried in, and we’re well on our way with mechanical, electrical, hydronic, and plumbing system rough-ins! This is going to be a really cool house!!

November – December, 2023

Nearing the end of the year, we ran into a few delays due to snow! We wrapped up the general framing and continued with the back porch covered framing. Next we’ll begin installing windows and sliding doors to the back porch.

October, 2023

Going into October, we started wall framing and setting roof trusses. We began ordering 2nd floor and lower roof steel to prepare for next phases. We used a boom to set the large trusses, balloon walls, and exposed steel beams throughout the great room.

September, 2023

By the beginning of September, we were well under-way with framing on top of the mountain. We’re using a special floor sheathing in this home that receives radiant floor tubing and helps spread the heat out over the whole floor surface. On the exterior, we’re using a tried and tested Zip System sheathing on the walls for a superior moisture and air barrier.

July – August, 2023

The end of July and first part of August was spent getting our underground mazement plumbing installed, and installing insulation and radiant tubing for our heated basement concrete slab in this beautiful home! Next we’ll be on to framing & going vertical.

May – June, 2023

May was busy at our Pine custom home getting our foundation formed and poured. June brought more underground utility and drain work, foundation preparation, and a lot of backfill. Looking forward to spending July getting ready to start framing and go vertical with this wonderful new home!

April, 2023

We’ve completed blasting and hammering rock to complete the excavation for the foundation of this custom design-build home. Footers are now being formed, and we’re continuing with under-ground utility installations.

March, 2023

Throughout the month of March, we made a ton of progress moving huge amounts of rock and dirt from the top of the hill down toward the road to continue building the driveway out. We opened up the driveway entrance for better access for construction vehicles, as well as RVs and other large trailers the owners will ultimately need to get in and out of the property. Late April and May will be focused on getting all utilities up to the house and pouring the foundation.

January – February, 2023

We started blasting the top of the hill on our homesite! this will allow us to generate the fill material we need for the new driveway, and continue to establish an accessible pad to start the construction activities for the new home. We should only be a couple weeks away from having a building permit released, and with this site work almost complete, we’ll be ready to start building!

November, 2022

We’ve drafted the front and rear elevations from our current design drawings for this custom home and we’re excited to watch this home come to life over the next few months.
